Hours Report

Janie Branham, our Ways and Means Committee Chair, her husband David, twins David Jr. and Ruth participated in a ‘Get Out the Vote’ block walk before this year’s primary. Janie, a member of the Harris County Local Government Committee, the Precinct Chair who organized the most block walks. Before 1,000 Precinct Chairs at a County general meeting, Janie was honored because her Precinct– #659—had the highest number of voters vote straight Republican on their whole tickets.

  • Voting
  • Block walking for a candidate or issue on a ballot
  • Preparing materials or reports for KARW use
  • Attending a KARW general meeting
  • Attending any KARW event, board meeting, and activity such as registering voters, giving out information about KARW include driving time
  • Attending any Texas Federated Republican Women conference or workshop in person (include driving time) or online
  • Phoning KARW members to remind them of an upcoming meeting
  • Phoning and leaving messages to vote for a candidate or a ballot issue
  • Talking to friends about joining KARW, voting for a candidate or a ballot issue
